CARICOM Common Literacy Framework -Surinamese Dutch Documents
Estimated Reading Time: < 1 MinuteThe purpose of the project was the creation of a common regional framework for a literacy survey based on existing methodologies used in the measurement of literacy, for the assessment of literacy in the CARICOM Region. The framework contains common survey instruments, training manuals and related materials required for conducting a literacy survey and producing harmonized literacy statistics. The goal was to support informed policy making to meet the Education for All (EFA) goals and the Millennium Development Goals (MDG), as well as supporting the integration process that is part of the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME).
