Visualizing the distribution of variables and relationships between variables using meaningful tables, graphs, charts and maps are an integral part of data analysis nowadays. The appropriate type of visual display depends on the nature of variables and questions of interest. With increased prevalence of geospatial data, this also includes the use of mapping to show spatial distribution of indicators of interest.
