Ethical and Effective Data Sharing at Scale

Effective and ethical data sharing. What does it mean? What does it entail? How do we do it?
As if following a recipe, we do it step by step.

This course takes the key aspects of data sharing and chops them up into bite-size pieces so we can digest them better. The goal is to understand the ingredients essential to successful data sharing and how we can harness this information to create recipes for ethical and effective data sharing partnerships. Knowing how to work with some basic ingredients makes us feel confident in the kitchen. It means that we can create combinations of meals that work for the people we’re serving it to, in this case, all of the diverse stakeholders involved in and who stand to benefit from data sharing ventures.

By the the end of this course, you should be able to:

1. Engage with relevant stakeholders in data collection and sharing.
2. Actively start the planning stages of data sharing.
3. Demonstrate awareness of data sharing policies and best practices.
4. Confidently use the knowledge in the course to participate in data sharing partnerships.
